Privacy Policy

Crown & Vale is an offline puzzle game. We use limited purchase and technical information to operate the optional one-time purchase service. You do not need to create a Crown & Vale account to play.

Game progress on your device

The app stores your game progress, completed levels, scores, earned coins, boosters, restoration progress, workshop content, and preferences on your device. This data lets the game resume where you left off. We do not upload your puzzle moves, journey save, or workshop files to our own server or RevenueCat.

If you choose to export a journey or workshop file, you choose where it goes through the device's sharing controls. A service or person you share it with can receive that file under their own practices. Importing a file reads the file you select. The app does not offer public player profiles or a public file sharing network.

Your device may include app data in backups according to your Apple, Google, and device settings. Removing the app can remove local progress. Deleting a local export requires deleting the copy wherever you saved or shared it.

Purchases and RevenueCat

Apple processes purchases on iOS through the App Store; Google processes purchases on Android through Google Play. These optional one-time purchases include Royal Pass and permanent gameplay upgrades. We do not receive your full payment card details. The stores handle their own account, payment, receipt, refund, and transaction records according to Apple's privacy policy or Google's privacy policy.

We use RevenueCat to validate transactions, provide access to purchased features, restore purchases, prevent purchase fraud, and understand purchase performance. RevenueCat receives purchase history and transaction information associated with an anonymous app identifier. The purchase service can process receipt or transaction details, purchased product identifiers, purchase status, purchase dates, and limited technical information such as device type and operating system. RevenueCat also records service activity such as when the app last communicated with the purchase service.

RevenueCat generates an anonymous identifier for the app. We do not supply a name, email address, phone number, or personally identifying subscriber attributes to RevenueCat. This purchase identifier is separate from your local journey file. Restoring purchases may reconnect an installation with its existing purchase history.

Purchase reporting helps us understand which offers convert and whether purchases or restores fail. The release does not send individual puzzle moves or a separate gameplay analytics stream. See RevenueCat's privacy information for information about its services.

Advertising and tracking

The app does not include third-party advertising, collect advertising identifiers, sell personal information, or track you across other companies' apps or websites for targeted advertising. The app does not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or precise location as part of normal gameplay.

When you contact us

If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, and any receipt or screenshot you provide. We use it to respond, investigate the issue, and maintain relevant support records. Do not send payment card details or unnecessary sensitive information. A support contact is not automatically added to RevenueCat as a personal subscriber attribute.

Support website

Cloudflare hosts these public support pages. Visiting the website involves processing network and technical information, such as IP address and browser request details, to deliver and secure the pages. We do not add advertising trackers or a separate website analytics service. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Service providers and processing locations

Apple, Google, and RevenueCat process the information needed to provide their respective services. RevenueCat may process purchase information in the United States and through its service providers. We may also disclose information when necessary to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or protect the security and rights of users and the service.

Retention and your choices

Local game information stays on the device until it is changed or removed through the app or device, subject to any backups and copies you keep. Purchase records may remain with the applicable app store and RevenueCat for as long as needed to maintain permanent ownership, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. Deleting the app does not itself erase store transaction records or refund a purchase.

You can request information about purchase data associated with the app, request correction or deletion, or ask a privacy question through ron@shup.ai. We may need information that lets us locate the relevant purchase record and verify your request. We cannot erase records Apple or Google must retain, and some records may need to be kept to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes. Deleting information used to prove ownership can affect our ability to restore your paid purchases, so we will explain that consequence when relevant.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information, object to certain processing, or complain to a data protection authority. Contact us through the privacy contact above to make a request.

Children and purchases

The game does not ask players for their age, name, or contact information and has no in-game chat. Parents and guardians can use Apple or Google parental and device settings to control or restrict in-app purchases. If you believe a child has provided personal information through support, contact us so we can review the request.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The effective date will show when the current policy takes effect. Material new data collection will be reflected in the app's disclosures and App Store privacy information and Google Play Data safety disclosures as appropriate.
